Rock Meets Folk: The Moontwins & Håvard Lund on Tour
Electric guitar, accordion and bass clarinet shared the stage as The Moontwins and Håvard Lund toured Finland, Sweden and Norway in June 2026. Across seven concerts, the Finnish duo and Norwegian musician brought together alternative rock, pop, folk and improvisation.
The Moontwins pairs PK Keränen, known from Finnish rock band 22-Pistepirkko, with folk musician and accordionist Leija Lautamaja. Their collaboration with Lund grew out of meetings on the Norwegian island of Fleinvær, where several of the songs were also written.
Running from 18 to 27 June, the tour visited Oulu, Helsinki, Lappajärvi, Alavus and Äkäslompolo in Finland. It then crossed into Sweden for a free concert in Gällivare, before finishing at Havna Scene during Festspillene i Nord-Norge in Harstad, Norway.
The tour received support from Scene Nord through Arctic Pulse and from local concert organisers. Arctic Pulse is the public name of Arctic Music Circles, co-funded through Interreg Aurora.
