Rolando Simmons, Guse and grisha223 at Elektorni
In June and July 2026, Elektorni welcomed guests from Luleå and Tromsø to its summer programme at Tähtitornin Kahvila in Oulu, Finland. Supported through Arctic Pulse, the visits combined electronic music with time for local and visiting artists to meet.
On 5 June, Luleå-based Rolando Simmons joined the season opening with a live set. A month later, on 10 July, Guse and grisha223 from Tromsø shared the decks for a back-to-back DJ set as Elektorni celebrated its 15th anniversary.
There was time to meet away from the stage, too. During each visit, Elektorni hosted a shared dinner for the guests and artists from Oulu. These gatherings gave them a chance to get to know each other and explore ideas for working together.
It was a return to Oulu for grisha223, who had played the Arctic Pulse stage at Frozen People in February. He also performed at Arctic Electronic Music Meetup in Luleå in May.
The events were organised by Elektorni and City Of Oulu as part of Oulu2026, supported by Interreg Aurora and by Lapin liitto.
