Arctic Pulse Stage Connected Oulu, Kiruna and Tromsø at Frozen People 2026
On 28 February 2026, Arctic Pulse hosted its own stage at Frozen People Festival on the sea ice in Nallikari, Oulu. As part of the ongoing exchange between Frozen People, Headframes and Insomnia Festival, the stage brought together grisha223 from Tromsø, Malsson and Oulu Sound Collective from Oulu, and Klint Andersson & Leifdroid from Kiruna for a full day of electronic music in a shared Arctic Pulse setting.
Presented in collaboration with the City of Oulu through Arctic Pulse, and supported by Interreg Aurora with co-funding from Lapin Liitto, the Arctic Pulse Stage showed how cross-border collaboration can create new public platforms for electronic music in the North. The event also took place during Arctic Pulse Producers Network in Oulu, connecting live performance with visiting organisers, producers and artists from across northern Norway, Sweden and Finland.
