Create the sound of tomorrow on an Arctic island

Imagine the thrill of creating brand-new music on a snow-covered island at the edge of the Arctic. Arctic Pulse invites 20–25 emerging artists, producers and songwriters from northern Finland, Sweden and Norway to join us for two unforgettable days of collaboration at the Luovo seaside hotel in Hailuoto, Finland - all expenses are fully covered by the Arctic Pulse project.

The camp leads directly into the Arctic Pulse Network Conference & Expo (26–27 February 2026) in Oulu, where participants have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share their fresh songs with an audience of over 50 Nordic music-industry professionals. Participants will be selected based on musical experience, creativity and/or diversity of voices, no matter your style or background.

Why apply?

  • Mentorship from two industry-respected professionals: Julia Sundberg (Housewriter, Warner Music Finland) providing a commercial-pop insight and Esa Mankinen (Satellite Stories, Winter Games) providing an indie & alternative perspective.

  • Collaboration in 7–8 three-person teams; finish at least one track / group.

  • Professional feedback on stage during the Network Conference showcase.

  • Tech support – studio microphones, interfaces and gear provided with Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OAMK) if needed.

  • Travel & stay covered – Arctic Pulse pays for accommodation, meals and all transport, including long-distance travel from remote Arctic locations if needed.

Who can apply?

  • Songwriters, artists, beatmakers or producers aged 18–35 who live or work in northern Finland, Sweden or Norway.

  • You preferrably have released music (independently or via a label) or are actively producing material for release.
