Norrbotten Sound Lab is an afternoon dedicated to local electronic music, new sounds and creative experimentation from Norrbotten.
Participants from the LJUDLABB courses in Piteå and Luleå take the stage at Lillan to present electronic music created close to home. The programme also includes guest electronic live acts from Sweden, Norway and Finland as part of Arctic Electronic Music Meetup (AEM) 2026.
Expect synths, rhythm machines, cables, textures, raw electronic energy and unexpected soundscapes — from delicate tones to heavier beats.
Norrbotten Sound Lab is for anyone curious about what is happening in the electronic music scene in the North right now. A chance to discover local creators, emerging sounds and new connections between Norrbotten and the wider Arctic electronic music scene.
